LPG boiler installation in Bristol and the South West

Boiler replacement and installation for homes that run on LPG because there is no mains gas. Get your quote on this site, with installation by Gas Safe registered engineers from our partner panel.

Who LPG boilers are for

Plenty of villages and rural homes around Bristol, Bath and North Somerset are not connected to the mains gas grid. Many of them run on LPG (liquefied petroleum gas, usually propane) stored in a bulk tank or in bottles outside the property.

An LPG boiler works in a very similar way to a mains gas boiler, and many models come in LPG versions. That means you can usually choose a combi, system or regular boiler to suit your home, just as you would on mains gas.

What we install

  • Like-for-like LPG boiler replacements
  • Switching boiler type, for example regular to combi, where the home suits it
  • New LPG boilers for homes changing from another fuel, subject to survey

We install the boiler and connect it to your existing LPG supply. Tank supply and refills are arranged with your LPG supplier.

LPG boiler questions

Can a mains gas boiler run on LPG?

Some boilers can be converted for LPG by a qualified engineer, and many are sold in dedicated LPG versions. It depends on the model, so we will confirm this as part of your quote.

How much does an LPG boiler cost?

It depends on the boiler type, flue and any changes to pipework. We do not publish a fixed figure yet. Request a quote for a confirmed price.

Should I choose LPG or oil?

Both are common off the gas grid. Running costs, storage and your existing set-up all matter. Our LPG vs oil guide covers the basics.

Do you supply LPG?

No. We install the boiler. Your gas supply and tank are handled by your LPG supplier.
